Ingredients

  • Bunch of kale
  • Olive Oil
  • Cumin
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Ground cashews

Directions

  1. Set oven to 200 degrees
  2. Cut leaves away from the mid-stems of the kale, and then cut leaves into bite sized pieces
  3. Put the leaves in a large bowl
  4. Drizzle with olive oil (no need to be too liberal)
  5. Sprinkle with cumin, garlic powder (a couple of pinches), salt, and pepper.
  6. Grind a couple of handfuls of cashews (cuisinart or coffee grinder works well)
  7. Sprinkle the cashews on the kale leaves.
  8. Massage all together.
  9. Spread onto a cookie sheet
  10. Bake in 200 degree oven until crisp – about 1 1/4 – 1 1/2 hours.
